Jasmine Wu

Founder

Hi! I'm Jasmine, and I founded the Troy Youth Education Foundation in 2018. I love movies (especially Greta Gerwig's Little Women and Daniels' Swiss Army Man), Brooklyn 99, building fun projects, animals, and biking with my friends. I've found that volunteering gives me purpose, and try to make every day exciting and meaningful. I work very, very hard to help expand TYEF's influence as far as possible and to improve our collective ability to help others. Read more to find out what I do!

Hi! I’m Om Khuperkar, one of the editors of the Troy Tribune Newsletter, and I am current attending Troy High School as a sophomore. As an article editor, I work to modify and enhance both the travel and nature/animal articles.

Hi, I’m Helen Xiao, and I’m a sophomore at Troy High School! As the newsletter cover artist, I draw the coloring pages for the cover of the newsletter. This involves brainstorming and making rough drafts, then drawing a final coloring page to be used for the cover.

Hey! I’m Dorothy and I am in charge of connecting Troy Youth Educational Foundation’s activities to places such as hospitals or nursing homes. In addition, I create logos, covers, and coined the name “Troy Tribune”.

Hello! I'm Adia, and I'm currently a senior at Troy High School. I'm in charge of proofreading and compiling all the components of the newsletter. Just as it sounds, I check for errors, accuracy, and plagiarism in the articles. In my free time, I love talking to my friends, playing with my dog, and watching movies and shows.

Hi! My name is Avani Prasad and I am the Hey [You]! Editor. I work on receiving the cards, typing up the messages to display on the website, and getting them to our photographer!
