Hi, Jasmine speaking! I had wanted to dabble in hydroponics for a while before this summer, but after sketching out blueprints and designs I realized that most hydroponics systems made of 2 by 4s and PVC pipes were way to expensive to be feasible, especially if we wanted to grow food that was going to be donated.
I set out to find a way to use cheap materials around the house to design a new hydroponic system. If you click on this page you can find out a little bit more about how much we've saved so far. Hopefully it inspires you to do the same!
What We've Saved
This might not seem like much in the grand scheme of things, but we hope that this website inspires other people to start their own garden out of recyclable materials or just to be more environmentally conscious!
