Teaching Others
One Step at a Time
After designing a hydroponics system and improving it through trial-and-error, we're currently working on bringing it to more children, teens, and adults. We'll keep you updated!
What We Do
Making A Difference
Spreading the Word
We recently shared this project at the Project Green School's National Youth Council Conference to hundreds of students, educators, and government officials. We shared the benefits of hydroponic gardening and how they can implement these systems in their local communities, in addition to how to implement sustainable practices in schools, one of the biggest producers of waste in a community. We hope to present at more conferences in the future!
Educational Manuals
Designed to empower young students and enable them to conduct their own STEM experiments, our hydroponics system comes with several easy-to-follow, originally-illustrated brochures. If you have any suggestions for future manuals or edits, let us know at troyyouthef@gmail.com!
The Planetary Press
We contacted Mrs. Kimberly White, the Founder and CEO of The Planetary Press, which is a source of information about environmental sustainability and how everyday people can protect the earth. We submitted an article for publication, which was approved on 12-21-2020. We hope The Planetary Press' readers enjoyed this article about We Can Plant!
Writing a Curriculum
We are currently creating a curriculum to be implemented at local schools We'll keep you posted!
